Welp, submitted the oneshot from the other day on a whim. It made it past the first round but not the second. I got it sent back with two reader opinions attached to it. One was pretty much "I love this story without reservations" and the other was "These characters are totally unlikable and it's boring."

To each his own, honestly. I wrote it for the hell of it, so I don't really care either way. I was expecting something a little more constructive than that, but what can you do.

In other news, I wrote a page of Misconduct today. One whole page, I know. But it's a start?

That's still a lot better than what many people who submit get, so at least someone at the office liked your story without reservations. ^^v It's still a good outcome.
